October 11. The fudge family went to Tagaytay (actually, in Alfonso, Cavite) for an overnight getaway at Hacienda Solange. The place is soooo nice and perfect for a big family like ours! What we love the most is that we have it all to ourselves. The only thing we didn’t like much is the bigger pool coz it slopes steeply downwards in the middle (7ft) so it’s not safe for kids and those who don’t know how to swim. It was raining really hard on our way there so the grounds was a bit muddy but, it wasn’t a big deal. We (they) watched the Conjuring then we had dinner and some drinks afterwards. We bought and cooked kalabaw steak. It was so yummy! Some of the ‘kids’ went for a swim despite the cold weather before we called it a night. :)
We swam early morning the next day. The water was cold! had brunch and prepared to leave. Took last minute photos. Dropped by starbucks for a quick coffee fix before heading back to the metro. Fun fun fun weekend! Yay! ^_^
